Tanya's BBQ Pulled Chicken

I am not sure why, but I have gone rogue for a few dishes. This is another one of my dishes I made up. I love to BBQ in the Summer, mainly because it is easy to cook and clean up. Make sure you have a roasting pan that can go on the grill. We use disposable foil ones.

Shopping List:
  1. 1 LB skinless chicken breast
  2. Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce (if you aren't a fan of SBR use your favorite brand)
  3. Morton Nature's Seasons
  4. Turano Hoagie Buns ( I am not sure if this is just a Chicago brand, please use any brand you have near you)

 Recipe:
  1. Season chicken breast with Nature's Seasons
  2. Place chicken directly on the grill and cook until done (desired temperature)
  3. Once chicken is complete, place chicken in the pan and add BBQ sauce.
  4. Cook chicken in the sauce for about 10 minutes.
  5. Pull pan off grill, with two forks begin shredding the chicken. Add more BBQ if you like.

Take Hoagie and toast it on the warm grill. Once toasted add chicken and enjoy!!

Tanya's Roast

Happy September Everyone!!
I decided to try to make my own pot roast. By "my own" I mean no pin was used, just my own idea. I decided I wanted to *gasp* not use the crock pot for my roast. I wanted to try something different. After cooking enough of other people's recipes, I have learned a few tricks and thought why not try it out.
I got the inspiration from my Mother-In-Law, she gave me these colorful bell peppers. I didn't just want to waste them in my morning eggs. I decided to make it a fall feel good dish. I used a Beef Pot Roast and added things along the way.

Side note: make sure you have a pan that can go into the oven. I use the Caphalon Wok that I love!

Here is what you will need:
2LB Beef Roast
Worcestershire Sauce
2 Garlic Cloves (whole)
1 Medium Yellow Onion
Morton's Nature's Seasoning
Small Bell Peppers (colorful ones if you want your dish to look pretty)
Olive Oil

Pan:

  1. add 1 TBSP Olive Oil to your pan
  2. Chop your onion
  3.  place your garlic cloves (whole)
Add all these ingredients to your Pan cook on Medium heat

While your Pan is cooking the onion, and garlic start prepping your Roast.

Roast
Season your Roast on both sides with Nature's Seasoning.
Turn your oven to 350 degrees

  1. Add the Bell Peppers to the Pan
  2. Add the Roast to the Pan
  3. Add 4 dashes of Worcestershire Sauce to the pan
  4. Allow the Beef to brown (2 min on each side)
  5. After the Roast has a nice brown color place it in the oven.
  6. Allow it to cook for 45 min or until the Temp is at 165
I allowed my Roast to rest for a few minutes before we served it. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did!
